How we started…

Born and raised in Southern California, Tom, at the age of 16, was asked to help a friend’s father dig a pool. From that point, he developed a great enthusiasm to gain all the knowledge he could with respect to all the intricacies that went into a swimming pool.

In the early 1980’s, Tom started his first pool route, consisting of 65+ pools, cleaning and repairing equipment as needed. Kim came along during that time and assisted with the cleaning of pools and also began running the business end of things.

In the 1990’s, Tom worked for a large pool builder as a construction supervisor overseeing all aspects of the pool building process. Tom was then promoted to the role of Customer Service/Warranty Supervisor, working closely with pool owners, taking care of their needs throughout the construction process and through the warranty period.

In the summer of 2000, Morgan Family Pools was established, specializing in the building, remodeling and repairing of swimming pools. As a husband & wife team, Tom relished in the responsibility of overseeing the pool building process while Kim felt right at home in the day-to-day office responsibilities of the business, including working closely with customers. Truly the positions they both loved and excelled at!
